WOMEN OWNED SMALL BUSINESS

Business with government is ready to help pave the road of opportunities for you company.  Last year kicked off the recognition of WOSBs doing business with the government.

The reports show specific NAICS, which are under represented by WOSB companies.  The government’s goal is to provide an opportunity for qualified WOSBs prepared to do business with the government.

To quote SBA Administrator Karen Mills:

“Women-owned businesses are one of the fastest growing sectors of the economy.  As we continue to look to small businesses to grow, create jobs and lead America into the future, women-owned businesses will play a key role.  That’s why providing them with all the tools necessary to compete for and win federal contracts is so important.”

SBA WOSB 3rd Party Limitations

Woman owned small businesses (WOSB) have an alternative choice of being certified for a fee by 3rd parties.  The SBA has acknowledged third party certifications, according to the WOSB government program.

Third parties may only have the authority to certify WOSBs and not EDWOSBs (Economically Disadvantage Woman Owned Small Business) or other small business programs.

Iris helped me complete my company’s registration within 72 hours. My company “the Parker Group” was able to complete and submit a proposal that same week. The contracting office confirmed we met all of the submission requirements. Thank you
